Postdoctoral Fellowship in Access to Higher Education for Displaced Students at Canadian Postsecondary Institutions 

Please find attached a job description for a one-year Postdoctoral Fellow position focused on refugee youth education and inclusion.

The position is part of the SSHRC-funded UnborderED Knowledge research project (Cluster 2) and is hosted by World University Service of Canada (WUSC). The successful candidate will contribute to research examining the educational experiences of refugee and displaced youth, with a focus on pathways to inclusion, belonging, and academic success.

​

The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct research, support knowledge mobilization activities, collaborate with community and academic partners, and contribute to reports, publications, and presentations related to refugee education and forced migration. The position offers an opportunity to engage in community-based and policy-relevant research that advances understanding of the barriers and opportunities facing refugee youth in Canada.

Applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant field, demonstrate expertise in migration, refugee, education, or related studies, and be legally entitled to work in Canada throughout the appointment. Candidates with lived experience of forced migration and/or experience working with refugee communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
