International students admitted to full time undergraduate studies who are experiencing hardship due to global conflict, natural disaster, or familial crisis. The award is intended for students who are not currently recognized as Protected Persons.
$4,000 CAD to 10 international students
Region identified by UN Crises Relief within the calendar year of student's application.

This award supports students experiencing hardship due to global conflict, natural disaster, or familial crisis. The award is intended for students who are not currently recognized as Protected Persons. This award is not intended to be a long-term funding strategy for students, but instead offer some relief to those who are academically qualified and are expecting to be financially capable for funding their own education, but a current unexpected crisis has caused some disruption in their lives and academic journey.

There are 10 International Emergency bursaries valued at $20,000 CAD each and are available to international students entering a full-time undergraduate or graduate program. Each bursary is renewable annually for a maximum of four years, provided you are in good academic standing.
