Incoming Refugee Sponsorship Bursary (IRSB)

The "Incoming Refugee Sponsorship Bursary" will be available every semester, for individuals who are planning to study in Concordia University, Montreal.

COSTI Scholarships

Applicants must be a current or former COSTI client. Applicants must be a Permanent Resident of Canada, Canadian Citizen, Convention Refugee, Minister’s Permit Holder, or Refugee Claimant approved by IRCC.

Five academic scholarships totalling $13,000 in funding are available for current and former COSTI clients – the WCPD Foundation Scholarship Fund, the Vittoria Adhami Immigrant Women’s Scholarship Fund, and the Mary Cellucci Women’s Scholarship Fund.

Scholarships for Globally Displaced Students

For scholarship consideration, you must have received an admission offer to an undergraduate program at Western’s main campus, and intend to register as full time student. The scholarship will continue for up to four years provided you remain registered full time (minimum 3.5 crs) in an undergraduate program at Western’s main campus.

SGS Scholars-at-Risk Fellowship​

Be a UofT master’s or doctoral program who is, or has been within the last 5 years, an asylum/refugee seeker anywhere in the world (regardless of status in Canada) OR whose current or proposed program of study has been impacted by changing political environments in their country of current or future study, including changes in immigration law

Recipients are granted the status of Scholar-at-Risk and considered for Junior Fellowship at Massey College in the University of Toronto. Scholars-at-Risk Fellows are invited to become engaged members of the vibrant and diverse Massey College community, for which the membership fee will be waived by the College as part of the Fellowship.
